prince of egypt

its rare to read a book and then see a movie and it turns out the movie was better than the book. when it happens its noteworthy, when the book in question is the Bible, then its down right shocking! i've read the story of moses a million times and always been impressed, but i never imagined it as good as this movie portrays! i've seen this movie about 30-40 times in my life, 4 times while it was in the theater, once with friends, once alone, once with my mother (who only goes to the theater about once every 5 years), once with my grandfather (who hadnt been to the theater since the 1960's!). i have the soundtrack and memorized every one of the songs. even after seeing it so many times, it still gives me startling shivers because of the awe and wonder it evolks. to say i love this movie would be a huge understatement. i am actually having a hard time putting into words just how much i love this movie!
