this modern retelling of the cinderella story isn't as bad as i thought it would be. its one of my wife's favorites, so i knew at some point she was going to make me watch it, and i'll be darned if hilary duff isn't charismatic and charming! the whole thing is kind of dumb and really predictable, but for some reason it still kinda works. as far as lame teen movies go, this one is pretty good.
