another great film that is constantly referenced in pop culture. who hasn't said 'i want a hoverboard!' before? its so ingrained into our culture that it has passed into legend at this point. the future stuff is so fun and optimistic that you can't help but love it. the film goes to some really dark places as well and at times gets too convoluted for its own good, but its still a lot of fun. there are parts that suffer from 'middle film' syndrome, as can often be the case in trilogys, but its still a blast to watch.
