we all know this movie and how good it is, instead i want to talk about the terrible parenting that happens. why would the parents think its a good idea to hide and ignore the problem with elsa? sure, elsa accidentally used her power and something bad happened, but forcing her to never tell her sister about it and instead keeping the two of them apart for their whole childhood? how is this even acceptable in an animated movie? its no wonder the two of them have a hard life and elsa banishes herself to live alone forever- they basically raised her to think there is no other option! the fact that the two of them grow up to be as relatively well adjusted as they are is a miracle! and also, elsa can create sentient life? so she's a god?!? how is that not addressed? if the soundtrack to this movie wasn't so amazing there's no way anyone would give this story a pass.
