a fun little movie. i'm sure it caused quite a stir when it first came out- the super manly patrick swayze and wesley snipes playing transvestites? yeah, that is a bit unexpected! though the set up and cast is very shocking and strange, the movie itself is anything but. the whole thing is very run of the mill 'city girls stuck in the country' as they try to understand the small town and they try to understand their big city ways. its very tame by today's standards, but i suppose it had to start somewhere.
