my best friend's wedding

i never saw this one when it came out so i wasn't influenced by all the hype around it, and there was a ton!  between julia roberts at the height of her popularity and cameron diaz becoming the next big thing, this one was huge.  seeing it after all that had blown over i was able to see it for what it was: a mediocre romantic comedy with some funny jokes, but mostly just lame misunderstandings and forced relationship issues.
